Is it abnormal to get an erection just hanging out with my girlfriend?

I’m 17 and this is my first girlfriend. I was just wondering if its strange to get an erection when were not even doing anything sexual. We could be holding hands or just watching a movie.
Just looking for some advice on how to get over this?
